The aroma of gorditas and tamales will blend with the sounds of banda and salsa music at the Nevada Hispanic Services’ Annual Salsa Y Salsas! Festival.
Participate in an event that will bring the unique flavor of the Hispanic culture of the Americas to Carson City. We will have Artists, Live Music, Folkloric Dancers, Food Vendors, and both Salsa Dance and Salsa Tasting Contests.
In addition to great food and great family entertainment, you can sample or try your hand at the Salsa Tasting Contest. Hot or mild, red or green, these salsas will please everyone’s palates. Admission to the Salsa Y Salsas! Festival is FREE with plenty of free parking nearby, across Carson Street or across Fifth Street or in the Legislative Parking Garage on Stewart Street. The event runs from 10 AM to 5 PM.
