A feeder program to the Carson City Junior Ski/Snowboard Program
It's NEVER to early to start! Diamond Pete's Kids will again be offered for the 2008 ski season at Diamond Peak Ski Resort. The program includes complete ski lesson packages and is available to children ages 4 to 8 years old. Children are taught in small groups separated by age and ability, 4 to 6 years old together and 7 to 8 years old together. This makes Diamond Pete's Kids the perfect starter program for kids before going into the Carson City Junior Ski/Snowboard Program, which accommodates older children ages 9 and up.
Lessons will be offered on Sundays starting January 20th, 2008 and continues for 6 weeks. All levels of skiing ability are welcome, especially first timers! Participants can attend two-hour sessions in either the morning or the afternoon. Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from Diamond Peak Ski Resort in Incline Village. For skiing and borading parents of enrolled children in the program, specially priced half or full day lift tickets are available on corresponding Sundays.
REGISTRATION for this program will be held in the lobby of the Carson City Community Center on Monday, November 27th from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm and Saturday, December 9th from 9:00am to 12:00 noon.
