I enrolled my grandson into Carson ATA at the recommendation of his psychologist. My nine year old has been through quite a few bad times in his short life and consequently, has emotional and behavioral problems. I have seen a remarkable change in him since starting.
He is respectful, has much more self control at home as well as in school, and has a lot more self assurance. I watch him try to do something new or tackle a project, and in the past he would give up right away. Now he actually tells himself that he is strong and can do anything he sets his mind to do, and he completes his task. Afterward he is so proud of himself for sticking to it and so am I.
Mr. Goodner has even taken his personal time to sit with my grandson and talk about the issues he has had to face. This proves to me that Mr. Goodner is dedicated to the well being of these kids, and that means a lot to me.
My grandson has been in soccer and flag football in the past, and half way through the three month season he always wanted to quit. He has been attending Carson ATA for a year and a half, he still looks forward to going to class.
I am thankful every day that we were directed to Carson ATA.
