An annual favorite, the "Nevada Day Treasure Hunt" is back.
This year the treasure hunt will begin on October 8th and last for 15 weekdays (or until the treasure is found).
The "Medallion", enclosed in a leather pouch has been hidden *somewhere* in Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Lyon or Washoe county.
Your mission: Be the first to find the medallion and turn it in at the the Nevada Appeal office.
Your prize: $1000 and a plaque (register online at the official website for an additional $500)
